Justin Katz is an acclaimed Creative Director and eleven-time Emmy® Award winner at Flock of Pixels, a virtual micro-agency that he founded in 2008. With an extensive background in branding design (Landor NY), animation (BFA), and advertising (JWT), Justin is an expert at crafting compelling narratives that resonate with clients and audiences alike.
Over the course of his career, Justin has worked with an impressive roster of clients including Apple, American Express, Disney, Meta, NXP, and Arizona State University. His innovative and narrative-driven designs can be seen in high-profile projects such as iCarly on Paramount+, Super Bowl commercials, ESPN specials, and on almost every Amex product video.
Winner of the "Big Brain Awards" in Design and listed at the top of the Phoenix New Times' "Top 100 Creatives," Justin continues to produce award winning commercial work. He uses his unique skill-set to create innovative explainer videos, educational productions, art installations, and pro-bono (for good) work.
Justin is currently seeking ways to use his "special set of skills" to help change the world and has a strong desire to spend at least one month with just a backpack in the wilderness. He can often be found developing his ideas while: riding a bike sans hands, hiking around the world, or enjoying a burrito and beer outside with his friends.
